From 2022 to 2025, I worked extensively on licensed product design, collaborating with major brands to bring their worlds to life through physical products. As an industrial designer at Nerf, I developed blasters and play experiences for iconic franchises, including Minecraft, Fortnite, and Disney, and others - while ensuring each product remained true to the brand’s identity while pushing creative and technical boundaries. Working closely with licensors, I navigated brand guidelines, approvals, and collaborative design processes to create engaging, high-quality products that resonate with fans. This experience has strengthened my ability to translate digital IPs into compelling physical experiences while balancing innovation, playability, and brand authenticity.
Nerf Minecraft Firebrand
The Nerf Minecraft Firebrand axe takes its inspiration from Minecraft: Dungeons game. The front of the axe has slots for 3 darts, players can unleash 3 darts in a row before it's time to reload. The edges of the axe are covered with Nerf foam for safe play.
